A week in Bormio, Italy

We arrived here Sunday night after a long journey via bus, plane and bus again! We landed in Milan and had four hour drive to Bormio. The next day we had a very good breakfast then relaxed until practice that night which was another tough one as usual. By the time Tuesday and Wednesday came by we played two games, which we both lost sadly but aren't hanging our heads because we have two more games! During the free time I had on Thursday I went on a walk to the center of the town and took a few pictures that you will see in my blog, the town was very nice looking, it seemed scarce because everyone was having their Siesta but it was ok with me!
Well we went 1-1 on the final two games and probed to ourselves with a little more work we could be a pretty good team, also Steve Burtt showed up from the Ukrainian National Team and played the last two games with us and played very well. Actually in the last game before I forget I got to play against Josh Carter, former Texas A&M teammate of mine, I didn't get the victory that I wanted but it was good seeing him and catching up, we will always be Aggies for life, Gig' Em After finishing up our games, we slept for a little while till we had our 5 am wake up call and shipped out to Milan airport to catch our flight back to Istanbul then bus ride to Bursa, so we could attend the daughters wedding of the President of our club. It was a well done wedding, that I enjoyed being apart of, especially since I never been to a Turkish wedding before, this was also unique because it was done in a small village within Bursa along with many of the traditional methods they used back in the day! After the wedding, I returned to my cozy apartment and may I say it feels good to be back home : ). Well Good Night and God Bless you All!!!
