First Home Game of the Season!

Well yesterday we played our second game against BC Rakvere Tarvas at home in Bursa and pulled out a very ugly game full with turnovers. I personally played a terrible game but on the bright side, my teammates Steve Burtt, Austin Nichols, Kenan Sipahi and Josh Heytvelt had pretty good game all around  The final score was 79-76. Tofas qualify to EuroChallenge Regular Season. The Turkish side won the second game 79:76 and advanced to the tournament. 
Rakvere Tarvas traveled to Turkey with 30-point disadvantage after the first game. That time they lost to Tofas SC 106:76 in Estonia. Rakvere Tarvas won the first period 25-18, while the score was tied at the halftime. The Estonian side won again the third period 24-22 and led 2 points after three quarters. They did not mind 17-22 in the last quarter from the Turkish side as the board showed 79:76 at the end. 
Austin Nichols (200-SF-82, college: Humboldt St.) top-scored for the Turkish side with 14 points and Steven Burtt (185-G-84, college: Iona) nailed 13. Kenan Sipahi (198-PG-95) delivered 12, while Joshua Heytvelt (210-F/C-86, college: Gonzaga) collected 11 points and 13 rebounds. Juris Umbrasko (197-G/F-79) finished the game with 17 points in defeat, while Reimo Tamm (185-PG-84) and Maris Laksa(205-F-81, agency: Court Side, college: Providence) had 13 each. Kaido Saks (205-F-86) followed them with 10 points in a loss. 

We get back on the road tomorrow morning for Turkish Cup, God willingly we return to Bursa 3-0 and me and the team playing a lot better.
