All I can say is, I'm so glad we won this game and have another big one coming up against KRKA next week!

Tofas outgun visiting Etha in Round 5 of EuroChallenge. The Turkish side grabbed 3-2 record and remains alive for Last 16 stage. The team from Cyprus remains without victories at the tournament.
Tofas opened the game with 22-9, but had difficulties in the second period. The guests bounced back with 22-12 and reduced to 3 points at the halftime. The second half however was decisive in the game and brought dominance for the home side. Tofas won the third period 31-12 and added 22-11 in the last stanza. Gulmez brought the final points for the winners that celebrated their third win.
Austin Nichols (200-SF-82, college: Humboldt St.) top-scored for the winners with 21 points and Steven Burtt (185-G-84, college: Iona) as well as Joshua Heytvelt (210-F/C-86, college: Gonzaga) added 15 each. Can Altintig (195-G-87) delivered 12 points in the winning effort. Donte Poole (190-G-89, college:Murray St.) answered with 17 points and Ogooluwa Adegboye (182-PG-87, college: St.Bonaventure) brought 10.
